Vanliga frågor
Tål ett LED-band värmen i bastun?
Ett vanligt LED-band gör inte det. I bastun används ett särskilt bastuband: under lavarna en modell som tål 100 °C och vid taket en som tål 125 °C.
Var monteras LED-belysningen i bastun?
Under lavarna, bakom ryggstödet och i en profil vid taket. Aldrig ovanför bastuaggregatet och inte närmare aggregatet än 50 cm.
Var placeras transformatorn?
Alltid utanför bastun, till exempel i omklädningsrummet eller i ett undertak.
Går det att dimra bastubelysningen?
Ja, med en TRIAC-dimbar transformator och en väggdimmer eller med en trådlös RF-dimmer.
Vilken färgtemperatur passar i bastun?
Varmvitt ljus på 2700 K är populärast. Kallt ljus upplevs ofta som obehagligt i bastun.
Vem installerar bastubelysningen?
Inkoppling av 230 V och installation av transformatorn görs av en elektriker.
LED lights for the sauna: under the benches and on the ceiling
Sauna lighting is made with heat-resistant LED strips. For under the benches and behind the backrest, the SAUNA LED light strip, which withstands 100 °C, is a good choice. Along the ceiling line, choose a dot-free sauna strip that withstands 125 °C, installed in a PINTA14 profile. No light fittings should be installed above the heater or within 50 cm of it.
Ready-made sauna LED kits
The easiest way is a ready-made kit that includes the strip, profile and power supply: bench lighting kit, ceiling lighting kit and their TRIAC-dimmable versions. You can find all the kits in the sauna LED kits category.
Power supply outside the sauna
The power supply is always placed outside the sauna, for example in the changing room or in the ceiling void. For damp spaces, choose an IP67 power supply; for a dry space, IP20 is sufficient. The power should be sized 20–30% higher than the power of the strip.
Colour temperature and dimming
Warm 2700 K light is the most popular choice for a sauna. With dimmable lighting you get a relaxed atmosphere for bathing and bright light for cleaning. Dimming is implemented with a TRIAC power supply or a wireless RF dimmer.
